Availability & Recovery AnalystLocation: La Crosse, WI, Onsite at Kwik Trip Support CenterJob Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleKwik Trip, Inc.’s IT department is seeking a well-rounded Availability & Recovery Analyst to support and grow our availability and recovery program. In this role, you will help ensure high availability and rapid recovery for critical business systems by supporting data protection tools, monitoring backup operations, and partnering with teams across IT and the business to maintain strong disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.What You’ll DoAdminister and support tools and processes that improve system availability and recovery outcomesMonitor and manage availability of data and systems to minimize downtime and meet service expectations (SLAs)Support day-to-day backup operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolutionMaintain disaster recovery applications supporting both on-premise and cloud environmentsHelp implement, validate, and test data protection tools, processes, and recovery strategiesCreate, manage, and maintain IT recovery plans for business-critical processesCoordinate and perform recovery plan testing during key events (new systems, upgrades, planned maintenance)Maintain clear documentation of recovery procedures, updates, and changes to ensure accuracy and complianceParticipate in Business Impact Analysis (BIA) interviews and provide gap analysis and recommendationsCoordinate with IT teams to ensure backup and high availability strategies are in placeAssist with project documentation related to recovery effortsPartner with vendors and service providers to help ensure third-party systems meet availability and recovery requirementsWhat We’re Looking ForAssociate degree in Network Systems Administration, Computer Science, or a related field2+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment with exposure to data protection tools and methodologiesKnowledge of project management concepts and terminologyKnowledge of cloud concepts and terminologyStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex systems and propose thorough solutionsWork ScheduleMonday through Friday, daytime hours (or as needed to perform duties). Participation in an on-call rotation is required to support critical system issues and incidents.
