Set-Up Programmer – Turning (CNC)1st Shift | Pay Based on Experience (Minimum $30.00/hour)We are seeking an experienced Set-Up Programmer – Turning to support 1st shift CNC turning operations. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC lathes to ensure quality, efficiency, and repeatability. Candidates must have multiple years of hands-on experience in a production machining environment.Key Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate CNC turning equipment (lathes)Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machineSelect tooling, set offsets, and establish workholdingPerform first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet print specificationsTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issuesCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teamsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaRequired Qualifications:Several years of CNC turning set-up and programming experienceStrong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledgeExperience with CNC controls (Fanuc preferred)Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervisionSchedule & Compensation:1st ShiftHourly pay based on experienceMinimum starting rate: $30.00/hour
