Onsite Well-being Registered NurseThe Onsite Well-being Registered Nurse will work closely with Cigna Benefits and Account Management Teams and in executing Cigna's well-being and health management goals. The primary focus of the Onsite Well-being Coach/Coordinator is individual coaching, site health promotion and Clinic Functions.In collaboration, with the Cigna benefits and account teams, this RN balances individual coaching sessions with appropriate delivery and coordination of wellness programs including event scheduling and appointment coordination and monitors effectiveness of the programs. A core objective of this position is to facilitate wellness programs that educate and influence employees at the work-site to lead healthy lifestyles.Coach ResponsibilitiesIndividual coaching sessionsProvide onsite face-to-face employee coaching, support and education.Assist in the identification of members' health advocacy needs.Utilize motivational interviewing and engagement strategies to support overall health and wellness of employees.Provide onsite support to members in order to help them identify a need for behavior change to improve health status, reduce health risks and improve quality of life.Document interactions and interventions as directed using Cigna health technology tools.Educate and refer members to available health resources when appropriate.Educate members about the availability of decision support tools where multiple treatment options are available.Provide health and wellness education utilizing a multitude of media including group presentations, support group facilitation, creative use of modalities (i.e. games, quizzes, etc.), newsletter contributions, etc.Follow up with employees to ensure that wellness program engagement has been achieved and assess future educational and/or program referral needs.Consult with other onsite health and wellness resources to ensure employee's comprehensive health needs are being addressed.Coordinator Responsibilities/Health PromotionCollaborate in development and coordination of promotions and communicationsPartner in overall promotion planning and developmentEducate about wellness programs, tools and servicesIdentify relevant promotions, articles and handoutsRaise awareness and create visibility for wellnessWellness Events and CampaignsPlan and roll out campaigns, challenges, and activities at assigned locationsSupport the design and implementation of site Health FairsAssist with coordination of activities, biometrics, online Health Assessment, individual and team challenges, guest speakers, mammogram screening, open enrollment, family wellness event, etc.Workplace strategy in partnership with Cigna benefits teamCollaborate on local tactics to bring corporate wellness strategy alive.Maintain activity calendar of events and activities for each locationReview local metrics, history, interests and engagement to design locally relevant initiativesTrack next steps, projects, activities and participation.Coordinate and pilot initiatives.Wellness Infrastructure DevelopmentIdentify ways to embed well-being into the environment.Develop local advisory council and champion networks.Identify barriers to engagementNetwork with Key people and divisionsTravelThe Onsite Well-being Coach/Coordinator will have travel expectations to identified locations within the organization for coordination purposes (25% travel).Clinical Functions/TelemedicinePrepping patient for virtual provider:VitalsClinical photosCLIA waived testingLabsImmunizationsInput HPI info into the systemOverall management and day to day operations of the health centerSchedulingOrdering SuppliesCLIA testingHealth Center review complianceOrder managementDaily clinic compliance testingQualifications:Active and unrestricted RN license in KansasBachelors/Master's degree in health education, health promotion, or related field preferredMinimum of 3 or more years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a physician's office or hospital settingMinimum of 3 or more years of experience in health and wellness fieldExcellent Computer and technology skills requiredExperience with workplace well-being strategy and implementationThorough knowledge and understanding of behavior change theories and their application.Working knowledge of wellness programming and individual engagement strategies.A high energy level and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.Self-directness and the ability succeed in an independent role.Bonus Points for:CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) successful exam completion desired.Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors.Experience in health education and wellness coaching preferred.Passion for health improvement.This RN will be based in the clinic in Ottawa KS.If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
