You'll work on their product, which records doctor-patient conversations and auto-generates clinical notes, saving physicians hours of administrative work daily. The team is growing fast, moving with urgency, and every engineer ships code that directly improves patient and provider experience.What You'll Do:Design backend architecture for scalable, AI-powered transcription and note generation systems.Lead technical planning and execution for features balancing feasibility, usability, and clinical impact.Build reliability and quality improvements into the ambient scribe transcription pipeline.Establish and enforce code quality, testing, and deployment best practices across the backend.Mentor junior engineers on system design, patterns, and engineering standards.Collaborate with product, design, and clinical experts to translate requirements into working systems.Work directly with healthcare providers to solve real problems in their daily workflows.Who You Are:5+ years building backend systems at scale, with ownership over shipping features end-to-end.Strong in Python or Go. Must-haves: either language, TypeScript, React, AWS fundamentals.Experience building distributed systems, migrations, or web applications at meaningful scale.Proven success shipping customer-facing products and handling production reliability.Comfortable with ambiguity, fast decision-making, and working in an early-stage startup pace.Bonus: Flutter experience. Prior healthcare or fintech background.
