Technical Consultant/Solution Engineer

Be part of a team that designs, develops, integrates and supports highly complex application functions within Tridium's organization. You will partner with clients to advise on effective use of the Niagara framework and will take an active role in delivering integration services, from system design and configuration to implementation and Niagara support.Provide high‐level guidance to clients on how to fully leverage the Niagara frameworkUnderstand overall functionality of the BMS / HVAC systemsKnowledge of Energy Savings opportunities in BuildingsIntegration of BMS systems with Niagara FrameworkInstall & upgrade Niagara Framework in the customer sites.Niagara Application Support to the customers.Configure Niagara Stations at the customer sites.Create Control Logics, PX pages, User Management, Alarms, Histories etc in Niagara Framework when integrating with BMS or other systems into Niagara Framework for the customers.Work with Professional Services development team & deploy the Niagara modules in the customer Niagara installations.Use Quality Assurance proceduresRequirement Definition for new opportunitiesCustomer Support for existing Professional Services customers.Awareness of protocols like BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus etc.Handling multiple projects/tasksYOU MUST HAVE7 or more years of experience as a System Integrator/Application Engineer specializing in BMS, HVAC, and commercial building systems, with proven expertise in Niagara Framework integration and end-to-end BMS project commissioningNiagara TCP CertificationWE VALUEBachelor's degree in EngineeringExperience with commercial or industrial control systems.Knowledge of open industrial and commercial controls communication protocols such as BACnet, LonWorks, ModbusExperience with mark-up languages, HTML or XML.Excellent communications skillsHigh level of customer service experience and aptitude including: the ability to communicate and show patience with technical and non-technical customers, active listening and inquiring skills to understand problems, proactively following up with customers to ensure complete problem resolution and customer satisfaction.Knowledge of software configuration management practicesKnowledge of networking, database technology, integration protocols, and current trends in the industry.Work experience in global projects will be considered as an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDiverse and global teaming and collaborationYou artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.You find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization.People who consistently take the initiative to get things donePeople who are Self-motivated and able to work with little supervisionThe annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $187,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
