This is a full-time, in-office position (five days per week) with no hybrid or remote work option. In this role, you will contribute to municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, supporting both design and field engineering activities while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.What You'll DoAs part of our team, you will:Work under the supervision and mentorship of experienced engineersCollaborate across multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, CAD designers, project managers, and leadershipAssist in the evaluation, design, coordination, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projectsPrepare engineering deliverables such as:o Plans and specificationso Engineering reportso Cost estimates and quantity take-offso Construction documents, sketches, models, and drawings* Perform civil design tasks related to:o Site development and layouto Stormwater and drainage systemso Grading and erosion/sediment controlo Utilities and conveyance pipingo Facility/site layoutsAssist with design using CADD tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStationSupport development of engineering calculations and technical detailsObserve and document field and construction activities related to water, sewer pipelines, and stormwater conveyance projects (as needed)What You'll BringStrong analytical, technical problem-solving, and organizational skillsEffective verbal and written communicationAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCollaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in teamsAttention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workEagerness to learn and grow both professionally and technicallyHere's what you'll need* Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field (ABET-accredited) OR Associate degree in drafting/design (CADD) or related program with relevant experience* 0-5 years of experience in:o Civil engineering design and/or CADD draftingo 2D/3D CADD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.)* Familiarity with:o Water, wastewater, and stormwater systems and design drawingso Industry CAD standardso Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtainPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering1-5 years of experience on water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with GIS tools, including ArcGIS Pro, is a plusUnderstanding of design and construction processes for municipal infrastructureWhy JacobsWork on meaningful projects that positively impact communitiesAccess to strong mentorship and professional development opportunitiesExposure to diverse projects and career growth pathsA collaborative, fully in-office environment that fosters teamwork, learning, and innovationPave the way for your career with Jacobs-where you can evolve, grow, and succeed today and into tomorrow.Posted Salary Range: Minimum58,656.00Posted Salary Range: Upper85,000.00Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
