The Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, managing power distribution, and performing power system analyses. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating technical drawings, conducting feasibility studies, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and codes. The role requires both technical expertise and effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams of Architects and Mechanical-Plumbing Engineers.QualificationsProficiency in Electrical Design and knowledge of Electrical Engineering principlesFamiliarity with Electricity fundamentals and applicationsExperience with Power Systems including analysis and Load calculationsSkills in Power Distribution design, implementation, and evaluationPreparation of Panel Schedules, Riser Diagrams. Lighting calculations and specifications. Fire Alarm and Low Voltage system design for schools and commercial facilitiesBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldStrong project management and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., NEC) is a plusPE licensure or progress toward obtaining licensure is desirable but not requiredAutoCAD proficiency is a must.
