Role : IMS system AdminLocation: RemoteDuration: Contract**Job Summary:**Key Responsibilitiesinstall and support IMS productInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM IMS products on z/OS.Administer and support IMS/TM, IMS/DB, IMS MSC, and IMS related subsystems.Perform IMS product installation and maintenance using SMP/E.Troubleshoot IMS system issues, analyze dumps using IPCS, and perform root cause analysis.Support IMS database administration activities including recovery, reorganization, and performance tuning.Design and maintain IMS database structures and physical database layouts.Monitor IMS environments and ensure high availability and optimal performance.Support COBOL and PL/1 based IMS applications.Work with application teams, operations teams, and vendors to resolve production issues.Implement IMS maintenance, PTFs, upgrades, and migration activities.Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.Participate in on-call support and disaster recovery activities.
