This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team to build and lead efforts in pediatric thromboembolic disease, hemostasis, and benign hematology within a rapidly growing tertiary and academic children’s hospital.The successful candidate will join a robust multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals providing care for children and adolescents with all forms of blood disorders, including bleeding and clotting disorders, bone marrow failure syndromes, hemoglobinopathies, and other non-malignant hematologic conditions.The Hematology Program collaborates closely with Cardiology, Surgery, Critical care and General Pediatrics anticoagulation stewardship, and perioperative thrombosis prevention.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive clinical care for children with thrombosis, thrombophilia, and general hematologic disordersLead and participate in quality improvement and protocol development in pediatric thrombosis managementCollaborate across disciplines to optimize anticoagulation practices and procedural safetyEngage in education and mentorship of trainees and studentsParticipate in or lead research and innovation initiatives related to thrombosis, hemostasis, or benign hematologyProgram And Division OverviewThe Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Dell Children’s includes 13 faculty physicians who provide comprehensive care for childhood cancers, blood disorders, and bone marrow transplant patients.
