You'll be accountable for test strategy, automation, and release readiness across the stack, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data to embed quality best practices throughout the SDLC and ship reliable, trustworthy customer-facing experiences.This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing fintech startup where your work will have a direct, meaningful impact on both the company and the financial well-being of our users.What You'll DoLead and grow a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development support to help individuals thrive and advance in their rolesDefine and drive the quality roadmap in partnership with Engineering, Product, Design, and Data leaders; aligning testing strategy, automation, and release readiness with business prioritiesScale and improve automation frameworks and regression/smoke/integration suites to increase coverage, keep developer feedback loops fast, and improve deployment speed and confidenceEmbed testing into CI/CD to reduce manual effort and prevent regressions, and drive release readiness and incident learning to avoid recurring issuesPromote operational excellence across the SDLC by setting quality best practices for test planning, exploratory testing, defect triage, and metrics; focused on defect prevention, observable quality signals, and continuous improvementEnsure testing covers performance, security, and regulatory/compliance needs for fintech productsHire and onboard QA engineers, helping scale a diverse, high-performing team while maintaining a strong bar for talent and cultureManage and continuously improve team processes, partnering with engineering teams on planning, execution, and retrospectives to drive effective collaboration and predictable deliveryRequirements3+ years of experience managing SDET/QA/Quality Engineering teams of 5+5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation for production systems across mobile and webExperience building and operating testing programs for mission-critical products at scale, with a strong focus on automation, release readiness, reliability, performance testing, and regression preventionProven track record of leading teams to deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives and improving quality outcomesStrong cross-functional communication skills, able to influence engineering and product partners effectivelyExperienced in mentoring future leaders and growing talentFosters a culture of ownership, accountability, and urgencyFamiliar with incident management, release readiness, and on-call/production support collaborationComfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments with a bias for actionSolid understanding of security, data privacy, and regulatory/compliance requirements in fintechBenefits and PerksOur goal is to provide a comprehensive offering of benefits and perks that promote better financial, mental, and physical wellness.We believe working alongside each other in person is the best way to build a great product and foster a strong company culture.
