Job SummaryThe Credentialing Supervisor under the direction of the Administrative Manager, manages administrative credentialing support to the physicians of Associated Pathologists. The person in this position manages the credentialing process, which includes providing management, supervision, and direction to the credentialing stafJob ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Manages, tracks, and provides direction for the physician facility credentialing process. Supervises the department's credentialing specialists including approval of time off, timecards, and conducting annual reviews. Maintains credentialing specialist training documentation for processes as well as onboarding new hire credentialing specialists. Continually monitoring the work loads for the credentialing specialists to address even distribution of assigned facilities. Communicates and maintains documentation and information for each physician and the company using QGenda Credentialing. Maintains files and database information for each physician. Reviews and distributes all incoming mail. Types and distributes correspondence, files, and faxes as required. Tracks and follows-up on new and departing physician paperwork and requirements. Please Initial Here Provides administrative support to the APII Physician Managers for the recruitment of new pathologists. Manages distribution of QA reports to requesting facilities and internal departments. Provides backup coverage for locum tenens scheduling. Provides backup coverage for reviewing and approving APII physician timecards in ADP and providing payroll notes to Payroll. Provides backup coverage for Concur approvals of APII physician's expense reports and monitors CME Fund use. Provides backup coverage for QGenda Scheduling for the Middle Tennessee physicians' schedules and maintains all APII physicians' time-off totals and requests.
