We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Controls Assessment and Testing SpecialistJob Location: Mclean, VARequirements for Control Testing Role:The Risk Management Risk Office – Control Testing Team is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Controls Assessment and Testing specialist with a strong proven audit mind-set when it comes to testing a hybrid or automated control. The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills. A proven background in evaluation of requirements compared to existing process and control coverage as well as the ability to identify gaps and solutions for gap closure. This role involves understanding of requirements, controls, and corrective actions review and evaluation. In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to identify key controls, design test plans and steps for testing technology controls including scripts, and compose clear and concise grounding for findings. This will be a challenging role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments appropriately.Responsibilities Include:Perform assessment analysis of requirements and controls to existing processesAbility to develop and execute testing and reporting proceduresAbility to understand and communicate complex processes and alignment to policy/regulatory requirementsEstablish and maintain good client relations during testing engagementsStrong ability to create and deliver verbal and written communications between business partnersAssist in the planning and execution of credit policy control assessmentsExecute transaction testing for credit policy requirements and credit intent in alignment with team methodology and proceduresManage to testing schedules to ensure all tasks and reporting are completed within established timeframesObtain and analyze test data from multiple sources, following testing protocols and leveraging job aids as neededSystematically retain documents that substantiates test resultsSubmit test results in the system of recordAssist in communicating results to business areas and Credit Risk Management leadership as neededBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent CertificationAt least 2 years of experience in controls testing (design and operating effectiveness)At least 2 years of experience in testing SQL and Python and reading codePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or military experienceAbility to effectively communicate findings to stakeholdersDeep understanding of risks and ability to communicate and evaluate the appropriateness of mitigating activitiesExperience auditing internal controlsAmpcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
