Child Care Assistant
Job Summary
Burn Boot Camp is looking for caring and compassionate Childcare workers who have experience caring for children ages eight weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to providing top quality care and a welcoming environment that reflects the Burn commitment to the community. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility and ensure a safe, engaging, and clean environment.

Patient
Able to remain calm in difficult situations
A good communicator
Able to lift 30-40 pounds
A valid CPR and First Aid certification is required for this position, either upon hire or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
Requires prior experience working
Skills
Experience with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
First aid certification is preferred to ensure safety during emergencies
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and parents
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
Classroom experience or experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers is highly desirable

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
