Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)- Remote Location: Texas / Remote Job Type: Full-time / Part-time Salary: Competitive hourly rate based on experienceJob Overview Assurasource is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Licensed Therapists to join our dynamic team in Texas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services, including individual, couples, and family therapy, to clients experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues. The therapist will work in a supportive environment that emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and a client-centered approach to care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, and life transitionsAssess client needs through intake evaluations and clinical assessmentsDevelop personalized treatment plans based on client goals and needsMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standardsUse evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic modalitiesProvide crisis intervention as necessary and assess risk for suicide or harmFoster a safe, nonjudgmental, and confidential environment for clientsStay current on mental health best practices and relevant continuing educationQualificationsValid, active license to practice in the state of Texas (LPC or LPC‐S)Ability to work with diverse populations and a variety of mental health issuesStrong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clientsKnowledge of HIPAA guidelines and clinical documentation requirementsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamA commitment to continued professional development and self‐carePreferred QualificationsCertification or specialized training in a specific therapeutic modality (e.g., EMDR, trauma‐informed care, etc.)Experience with telehealth servicesBilingual (Spanish‐English) is a plusBenefitsFlexible Schedule – Counselors are required to work a minimum of 6 hours per week. You can control your schedule and pick the demographic of clients you want to work with.Referrals – We receive over 120 new clients per week.
