This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including conducting assessments, facilitating communication device acquisition, training staff to use and teach participants to use AAC devices, collaborating with staff on language strategies, participating in life plan meetings, delivering family training, and more. Additionally, the coordinator will contribute to staff development days by teaching effective communication skills.Skills NeededMaster's degree in Speech Pathology. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and/or adults with autism. Familiarity with Augmentative/Alternative Communication systems. Licensure or certification as a speech-language pathologist, as required by NY state.Pay Rate$70,000 - $80,000 per yearContact:
