Project Engineer EstimatorNon-automotive, growing manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer Estimator. The Project Engineer Estimator will report to the Engineering Manager, will work within an energetic team of engineers and will communicate heavily with sales, design and production. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Create engineering concepts based on customer requests supplied by the sales teamDetermine estimation for production and create customer quotesAssist purchasing in qualifying vendorsCommunicate with customers on changeovers and the status of projectsDetermine final estimate, generate documentation and facilitate "kick off" of the projectComplete internal design review prior to productionRun reports within the company's ERP systemUtilize 3D modeling software for very basic layoutsVisit local customers as needed; very minimal overnight travel requiredOther duties as directed by managementCandidates should enjoy working in a team environment, collaborating with other engineers and working in fast-paced environments on multiple projects. This position requires candidates to be detail oriented, flexible, have the ability to prioritize and communicate at multiple levels of an organization.
