Company Description Camp Alandale is a Christian non-profit organization providing mountain camp programs for children ages 9-18 in the Foster Care system. Our mission is to introduce abused and neglected children to the transformative love of Jesus Christ while fostering personal growth and healing. Since 1980, over 4,000 children have been positively impacted through our small, highly supervised camp sessions. Although faith-based, Camp Alandale operates independently of any specific church or denomination and relies on the generous support of individuals, churches, and organizations. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can feel valued and supported. Role Description We are a gospel-centered camp in beautiful Southern California, dedicated to serving foster youth—and only foster youth. We’re looking for individuals ages 18+ to join our summer staff team! This is more than a job—it’s a chance to invest in kids who need consistency, encouragement, and care. Our summer season runs from May 31 through July 31st and includes a paid week of training to prepare you well. Throughout the summer, you’ll spend your days building relationships with campers, leading activities like hiking, arts & crafts, and archery, and creating a safe, joy-filled environment where kids can just be kids.
