If you meet all requirements for our program, you will be able to get a raise at each evaluation. If you are a good fit for our program, we love to promote and help all our teaching staff grow! Sick pay hours do not expire and can roll over to the following year.Paid HolidaysBirthday off with payWe will help you obtain your CDA (Child Development Associate)Responsibilities:Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach childrenObserve each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteemEncourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional argumentsGuide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, art, etc...).Track children's progress and report to parents (Tadpole's app)Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's backgroundCollaborate with other educatorsHelp with potty trainingMaintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standardsDesired Skills and Experience:Experience working in a licensed childcare facilityExcellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methodsFamiliarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classroomsExcellent communication and instructional skillsAbility to act as a mediator between childrenCool-tempered, friendly, and reliableCertification in child CPR or willingness to obtain
