Robot Delivery Technician

As a Robot Delivery Technician, you'll be at the heart of Coco's mission, ensuring our delivery robots are assembled, maintained, and deployed with precision. From hands-on repairs to diagnostic testing, this role is both technical and dynamic. You'll work closely with the engineering and operations teams to maintain peak robot performance while also providing critical feedback that helps shape future hardware improvements.This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving problems, and takes pride in getting things right the first time.A Day in the LifePrepare and inspect robots for each shiftDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issuesCollaborate with engineers to test new functionalitiesDeploy and support robot fleets across active marketsConduct routine inspections and log performance dataKey ResponsibilitiesAssemble, maintain, and repair robot hardwareDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issuesTrack recurring issues and contribute to hardware improvementsEnsure robots meet safety and operational standards before deploymentCollaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performanceBasic QualificationsHands-on experience in robotics, electronics, bike shops, or similar environments2+ years of technical experience in diagnostics, repair, or maintenanceFamiliarity with mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical documentationAbility to lift 40 lbsPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent technical experience in robotics or engineeringExperience with semi-autonomous robotic systemsSkilled in diagnostic tools and performance trackingComfortable using Excel/Google Sheets for reportingStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbout the TeamYou'll be part of a passionate, collaborative group that values innovation, hustle, and teamwork.
