Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Temporary)

Job DescriptionWhat We Are Looking ForBaylor University is seeking a part-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support core marketing operations for the Baylor School of Music during a temporary coverage period. This role focuses on performance programs, website and event updates, and recurring communications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and continuity across marketing channels. The position works closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and student employees to support day-to-day execution. This is an operational, detail-oriented role essential to maintaining established workflows.This position has an anticipated end date of 7/31/26.A Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.What You Will DoSupport the coordination, preparation, and completion of performance programs for Baylor School of Music eventsEnsure program materials align with established standards and guidelines, are accurate and complete, and are delivered on scheduleCoordinate with faculty, staff, student workers, and campus partners to facilitate program production, distribution, and archivingMaintain and update performance and event information on the Baylor School of Music websiteEnsure accuracy of dates, times, locations, descriptions, and publishing timelinesCoordinate with scheduling and internal partners to reflect updates or changes promptly and support visibility for priority events as directedManage execution of the School of Music's recurring weekly social media content, including scheduled posts and established content seriesUtilize existing templates, guidance, and assets to ensure consistency across channelsCoordinate with student employees to gather or deploy visual assets as neededProvide operational support for ongoing marketing workflows, schedules, and deadlinesAssist with coordination among faculty, student employees, and marketing leadership to ensure deliverables progress smoothlyMonitor timelines, identify gaps or issues, and communicate proactively to support continuityPerform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's missionAbility to comply with university policiesMaintain regular and punctual attendanceWhat You Can ExpectAs part of the Baylor family, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous time off, tuition remission, and outstanding automatic retirement contributions.
