Speech Language Pathologist, Inpatient Acute Care
Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
UCHealth offers a structured way for you to grow your skills, responsibilities, and pay in this position. Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care to provide various imaging and radiologic procedures
Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Speech Language Pathologist:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, and other related abilities.
Make a profound impact as you create and execute personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Provide extensive education to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding their communication or swallowing disorder, prognosis, therapy techniques and home practice strategies.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals (e.g. physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupation therapists, audiologists, teachers) to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
