US - Sr Procurement Specialist

Title: Sr Procurement SpecialistLocation: Phoenix, AZSalary Range: $33 - $35/hrApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2IntroductionThis position will lead the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts supporting key Client programs. The selected candidate will support the Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing team. They will be responsible for training and mentoring other team members as well as leading a commodity(s) within the team. Starting with proposal, fulfillment of the sales order, and ending with negotiating subcontracts or long-term purchase orders. The Lead Subcontracts Specialist will deliver compliant FAR15 packages to the Government, work closely with the Pricing organization, and negotiate with suppliers to get FAR15 compliant subcontracts in place.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or FinanceUS Person due to contractual requirementsSubcontracting experience (FAR15)Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and people-oriented skillsStrong negotiation skills and processesPrior work experience at client or in client's IndustryPreferred Skills & QualificationsBachelor's DegreeExperience working with subcontractors during all phases of the program lifecycleExperience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition RegulationsExperience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP, and other business tools used in the execution of subcontract management activitiesSupply chain experienceProcurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industryExperience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditionsAbility to work independentlyDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesExecute FAR15 subcontracts IAW FAR, DFARS and applicable regulationsBuild strong negotiation positions for contract executionManage key program suppliersMentor and train team membersBuild supplier strategies to enable best overall value to ClientCompany Benefits & CultureTimekeeping is Fieldglass - The supplier will train work on tool.Hybrid work option available after 90 days in officeCollaborative and supportive team environmentFor immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex and share your resume to
