Pharmacy Technician Retail - Lebanon, IN

Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Full Time, Days - M-F 8:30-5:00pm Hospital: Witham Health Services Location: Lebanon, IN Job Summary: Performs technical support of all Pharmacy services, which require development of skills to complete a Pharmacy Technician Certification program and become licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Indiana. A Pharmacy Technician will need to be able to effectively function within all areas of Pharmacy operations: assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient / pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies / procedures. A Pharmacy Technician will be required to problem solve efficiently, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED required plus a combination of training and work experiences which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge, and abilities listed in this position description. Indiana State Pharmacy-Technician or Pharmacy Tech In-Training license required. Pharmacy Technician Certification required within 1 year of hire. Must be 18 years of age with high school (or equivalent) diploma.
