Supplier Operations Price Analyst

In general, thistimeframe tends to be 6-8 weeks. Note there may be situations wherein-person training may be extended, someone may choose, or be asked toreturn onsite which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance.Additionally, this position does request 1 day per week (Wednesday)onsite. As a supplieroperations price analyst, you will collaborate with the Senior supplieroperations support manager to ensure we maintain a competitive positionon net costs. You will lead, coordinate, and finalize the price revisionprocess for a select group of assigned suppliers by reviewing,analyzing, negotiating, and processing all cost changes submitted.Here\'s what a typical day might look like. Develop collaborativerelationships with our supplier partners while representing 4imprint ina professional manner. Work with and independent of the Senior SupplierOperations Support Manager to review, analyze, assess impact, andapprove vendor price updates from all suppliers. Prioritize submissionsto ensure supplier timelines are met, in line with our own, andcollaborative relations with the supplier are maintained. Negotiate withsuppliers where needed to minimize the financial impact of pricechanges. Summarize supplier level impact data and share results withmanagement so they can monitor and assess the strategic effect on thebusiness. Maintain reports to analyze, monitor activity, and modify datasets used by the price team, supplier operations, marketing,merchandising, and executive team. Analyze prices for marketcompetitiveness and suggest when benchmarking or further negotiation maybe necessary. Maintain a current understanding of market trends andmacroeconomic changes and how they apply to proposed price changes.Review and assess the appropriate resolution to purchase order pricediscrepancy questions from price support associates and adjust recordsas needed. Work closely with internal team members across alldepartments to coordinate information flow between suppliers and4imprint. Collaborate with leadership on special projects related toprice analytics, new procedures, and strategic initiatives. Participatein training classes and actively seek professional development. Requirededucation/skills/experience: Minimu of associate\'s degree inmarketing, business, finance, or related degree. Applicants withequivalent directly relevant work experience will also be considered.Previous experience as a buyer or cost accountant a plus. Demonstrableunderstanding of margins, markup, product life cycle, etc. Experiencewith price methods, costing, and competitive cost analysis preferred.Experience In The Promotional Products Industry Preferred. Able Todemonstrate strong computer skills with working knowledge of databases,Intermediate/advanced Excel Skills, And Proficiency In Other MicrosoftOffice Suite applications and managing large sets of data.
