Job FunctionSenior Mechanical Process Engineer – High-Purity Modular Systems Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or 5+ years of high-level industrial experience) is required to be considered 2+ years of Project Engineering or Management experience in a manufacturing or process-heavy environment is necessary Pay is up to $110,000 (based on experience) Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder No remote as this is an onsite only position Full-time Permanent W-2 employee Full benefits No relocation Located in the Jefferson, Wisconsin Area This full time, permanent Senior Mechanical Process Engineer opening is at a growing, diverse, custom structural, system and metal component manufacturer. Customers are diverse and include biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical companies. The company promotes from within and does not hold employees back from growing their skillset and careers. The company has been in existence for approximately 30 years and employs approximately 100 employees. The company has not experienced a layoff since 2007.The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows: Own the full project lifecycle, from process design refinement and equipment specification to final testing and budgeting Refine process designs by sizing all lines and components and developing comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) Direct the 3D design process, working closely with the drafting team to review detailed fabrication drawings before customer submittal Coordinate cross-functional integration, specifically managing the alignment of electrical panels and process equipment within custom system layouts Collaborate directly with the shop and field, supervising field installation work and leading the checkout and testing of completed systems to ensure code compliance Serve as the primary technical point of contact for high-end global customers and suppliers, maintaining professional, long-term relationships The background of the successful candidate must include the following: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (candidates without a degree will be considered only if they possess 5+ years of direct industry experience) 2 or more years of professional experience in project engineering or project management, ideally within a manufacturing environment Technical proficiency in high-purity or sanitary systems (Pharma, Biotech, or Food/Dairy industries are highly preferred) Strong organizational and leadership qualities, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously to meet strict fabrication schedules A solid and stable work history reflecting technical reliability and professional commitment Being a US citizen or Green Card holder with a residence within a 45-minute drive of Jefferson, WI Please apply on Indeed or at impactsolutions.com/opportunities where you can see and apply for any of our open positions.
