Housekeeping/Laundry

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring all items are clean and well-maintained. Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Respond promptly to customer requests and maintain a high level of customer service throughout all interactions. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained in an organized manner. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately. Laundry Attendants perform multiple tasks ranging from washing and folding laundry items to operating commercial laundry. Some main job duties and responsibilities include: Sorting linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and material Washing items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocols Cleaning and maintaining laundry room area and equipment Unloading laundry from commercial dryers Stocking laundry supplies such as linen, detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softener Skills Experience in residential cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to clean efficiently while adhering to established protocols for sanitation and safety. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments such as hotels or private residences.
