Maintenance Assistant

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:• Assists in the interior and exterior janitorial needs, and ground keeping assignments.• Assists with the planting, pruning, fertilizing, and transplanting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes etc.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties asneeded to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. This position is primarily custodial.SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:• Ability to properly use of cleaning products and equipment• Capable of following verbal and written instructions• Ability to read and understand labels and directions• Proficient in the use of computer software such as MSWord, Excel and Outlook, etc.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:• High school graduate or equivalent.EXPERIENCE:• One year of custodial experience
