Senior Accountant - Fund Accounting

A company is looking for a Senior Associate II - Fund Accounting. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete accounting cycle for a portfolio of 4 to 6 commercial properties, ensuring compliance with reporting standards Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including journal entries and variance analyses, to provide insights into property performance Serve as the primary accounting resource for on-site property teams, coordinating procedures and ensuring effective communication Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution 3-5 years of hands-on Real Estate Accounting experience Strong knowledge of Common Area Maintenance (CAM) accounting principles and FASB 13 lease accounting standards Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis Experience with real estate-specific accounting software platforms such as MRI or Yardi
