Loan Services Post Closing AgentJob Category: Administrative/Service SupportLocation: South Bend, INJob DetailsDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the booking of loans on system and ensures policies, procedures, and regulations are adhered to for approval of and proper documentation of loans and perfection of bank lien. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSSets up new loans and maintenances renewed loans on loan system per customer executed documentation.Completes maintenance on the system for customer or product specific reporting and billing, and makes corrections as needed.Reconciles various general ledger accounts to ensure the account is balanced.Examines loan documentation for accuracy, completeness and properly executed signatures.Completes review of documents and due diligence requirements according to perfection guidelines.Determines adherence to credit approval and applicable regulations.Notifies Relationship Manager and sets up system follow-up for items needed to complete the closing package according to the credit approval, Bank pledging programs, perfection guidelines and applicable regulations.Perfects on real and personal property collateral.Completes all compliance training.Understands all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms all other duties as assignedEXPERIENCE/SKILLSNo experience necessary.Prior commercial or consumer loan experience preferred.Knowledge of loan documentation and real property perfection preferred.Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and courtesy.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Maintain good records and file management skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.EDUCATIONHigh School Diploma/GED required.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Minimal or occasional travel as needed for meetings, projects, training, etc.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
