This role is instrumental in fostering and nurturing relationships while ensuring seamless project execution. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses impeccable communication and organizational skills, and excels at multitasking across various projects and tasks simultaneously.This is a hybrid position, and candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of our office locations in Atlanta, or Savannah, GA; Jacksonville FL, or Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA.How you'll make an impact:Provide support and project coordination to Project Managers, Business Development, Clients, and Outside SalesCollaborate closely with Project Managers to deliver projects effectively within established timelines, scope, and budgetary constraintsDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules to track progress and ensure milestones are metIdentify and escalate project obstacles to Project Managers for timely resolutionProcure and coordinate delivery of project materials and resources as requiredPrepare and finalize complex proposals and documents with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelCreate and modify technical drawings and designs based on engineering specifications using CAD softwareEnsure drawings adhere to company standards and project specificationsCollaborate with vendors and project managers to gather necessary information for drawing updates and revisionsMaintain CAD files and ensure proper version controlSchedule and organize meetings, including site selection, travel arrangements, preparing materials, developing agendas, and recording meeting minutesInitiate and maintain communication with internal and external clients and vendors to ensure project requirements are metTrack proposal processes, compile data, issue reports, and maintain client information in the Cloud databaseParticipate in team meetings and activities to contribute to departmental objectivesAssist in day-to-day departmental operations in collaboration with division managersEnsure compliance with departmental policies and procedures, recommending changes as necessarySkills you'll need:Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate project requirements and status with Customers, Vendors, Project Managers, Outside Sales, and Upper ManagementMinimum 2-year degree or 5 years of work experience in Project Management/Document Control Field2 years of experience in CAD drafting, with proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programsCustomer and deadline-focused mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approachProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced team environmentPositive attitude with a desire to learn and grow professionallyOwnership mentality with a drive to exceed expectationsAbility to work with minimal supervision and make responsible decisions with high accountabilityProficiency in producing documents, reports, and data binders using various programs and tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPointHere's what will set you apart:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringThe Rewards:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(K) MatchCompetitive PayMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance PackageEmployer Paid Life InsurancePaid Time Off and Holiday PayCareer Development OpportunitiesAbout AWCAs employee co-owners, we're driven to do more than complete tasks; we build fulfilling careers by challenging assumptions and continually raising the bar.
