(VPA) VPA PS 2060 [[filter9]] Employee 1.00 Voith Paper is hiring for:Your Tasks Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions. Disassemble incoming equipment safely and do complete inspection of parts. Provide guidance on how equipment should be repaired. Schedule jobs in the department as to who is doing what and what order. Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications. Uses various equipment, press, puller, torch, hand tools, overhead crane, and inspection equipment to accomplish assigned tasks. Complete large and small assemblies working from prints and bills of material. Safely operate forklifts, scissors and boom lifts, overhead cranes Maintains equipment and performs basic repairs when needed. Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; orders as needed. Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor. Responsible for training new hires, and ongoing training to advance skill set. Performs other related duties as assigned. Your Profile Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Detail-oriented and consistent. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Possess good mechanical aptitude. Minimum five to eight (5-8) years of previous mechanical assembly experience.
