Quantity Surveyor

CEIS is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and financial performance on large-scale data center construction projects. This role is responsible for managing project costs, supporting change management, and ensuring alignment between scope, schedule, and budget in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting hyperscale or large commercial construction projects, with a strong understanding of subcontractor management, cost tracking, and construction financial processes. This individual will work closely with project managers, engineers, and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and successful project delivery.ResponsibilitiesSupport development of project budgets, estimates, and cost plans for data center construction projectsTrack and monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts across multiple trades (civil, structural, MEP)Manage and maintain owner and subcontractor change order logsSupport subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement processesReview subcontractor invoices and support payment approvals based on work in placeAnalyze cost performance, identify risks, and provide recommendations to project leadershipAssist with preparation of financial reports including cost forecasts, revenue tracking, and variance analysisSupport monthly financial close processes and reporting requirementsCoordinate closely with project teams to align cost impacts with schedule and scope changesParticipate in site walks and field audits to verify progress and validate cost reportingMaintain accurate documentation within project management and cost control systemsSupport continuous improvement of cost control processes across the project lifecycleRequirementsBachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)38+ years of experience in construction cost control, quantity surveying, or project controlsExperience supporting data center, mission-critical, or large commercial construction projects strongly preferredStrong understanding of construction cost structures, contracts, and change management processesExperience supporting MEP-intensive scopes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost tracking/reporting toolsExperience with systems such as Procore, SAP, Primavera P6, or similarAbility to analyze cost data and communicate findings to project stakeholdersStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and team collaboration skillsCEIS | Power is a small business headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with key offices in San Francisco, CA and Pittsburgh, PA, and we are growing.
