Job Title: PsychologistLocation: 70 E Lake St, Chicago, IL 60601Position Type: Full-timeSalary Range: $65,000 - $85,000Our client is a nonprofit agency in downtown Chicago that provides a variety of mental health services to under-resourced children, adolescents, and families. Their areas of special expertise include prenatal substance exposure and trauma; and are currently in search of a full-time clinical psychologist or neuropsychologist to join the Evaluation Team. Other benefits include generous PTO, as well as medical, vision, and dental insurance.Key Responsibilities1. Conduct assessment with children and adolescents in the context of comprehensive medical and neuropsychological evaluationsReview and generate appropriate referral questionsConduct clinical interviews with caregivers, collateral sources (e.g., residential treatment staff; DCFS caseworkers), and clientsReview records and integrate information to choose appropriate, evidence-based measuresAdminister, score, and interpret measuresIntegrate information and make clinical decisionsProvide feedback to caregivers/collateral sources (e.g., residential treatment staff; DCFS caseworkers) and clientsMake useful, individualized recommendationsGenerate quality reports2. Provide consultation to caregivers/collateral sources as needed3. Provide case management and follow-up with families/collateral sources as needed4. Complete required documentation in accordance with agency policies and best practicesOpportunities to conduct therapy, provide supervision to postdoctoral clinicians and practicum students, train professionals at CRT and other agencies, train community members, and contribute to grant proposals or research projects are available.Qualifications and Experience:Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited institutionValid Illinois license and at least 2 years experience in the fieldExperience with evidence-based assessment of children and adolescents (special emphasis on children and adolescents with trauma exposure)Competence with evidence-based therapy approachesOur ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and a desire to learn and grow.
