Controller Job description Mobility Solutions LLC is seeking a Controller to join its team. The candidate must have the ability to be a proactive, enterprising, and able to communicate directly with the management team. Candidate must have prior experience and possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Duties ·       Daily accounting tasks·       Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system·       Update and maintain the general ledger·       Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions·       Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers·       Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements·       Monitoring job profitability; implementing controls over purchasing and estimating to grow profitability·       Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes and systems·       Evaluating accounting and internal control systems·       Responsible for Human Resources functions including onboarding employees and benefits administration·       Assist with other general office tasksQualifications·       The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations ·       Understanding accounting best practices·       Knowledge of U.S GAAP·       High attention to detail·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel·       Produce work with a high level of accuracy·       Professionalism and organization skills·       Knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Business Central, or other financial applications·       The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business ·       Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates·       Associates degree in accounting or business administration·       3-4 years of relevant experience
