This role is responsible for building trusted relationships with farmers, ranchers, and producers while driving sales of crop protection, crop nutrients, seed products, and related services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong agronomy knowledge, sales acumen, and a passion for supporting local producers.Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to drive long-term growth and repeat business- Manage profit and loss (P&L) for an assigned territory- Forecast monthly and annual supply requirements- Increase sales and margins through new customer prospecting and execution of sales programs- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts- Create and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximize value- Collaborate with other CHS divisions to support enterprise-wide growth and cross-selling initiatives- Apply consultative selling techniques using the CHS sales cycle to achieve targeted results- Influence effective product placement and adoption of agronomy solutions- Utilize strong mathematical and agronomic skills to formulate fertilizer and chemical applications- Lead and adapt to organizational and technological changes to drive efficiency and innovation- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures
