Job Description Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 DOEPRODUCTION MANAGER G | ONE HAT ONE HANDThe Production Manager in charge of Logistics and Scheduling is responsible for the smooth operation of projects through the pipeline of One Hat One Hand. As part of the overarching managerial team, the Production Manager participates in the success of current projects and helps arrange for incoming work. They also collaborate with the management team to develop the organization of the business.Proven ability in personnel management and budgeting; excellent work ethic, including attention to detail, time management, workflow management, self-motivation, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to collaborate and work as part of a team; flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as necessary. Other duties as assigned.Position in Organization:Reports To: COO, Chrisray CollinsDirect reports: General Fabrication Manager, Project Leads, Production Coordinator, Finishing Manager, Facilities Team, Project Based Flex staffBudget Responsibilities: Personal Expense Report including clear documentation of time management, staff training courses and activities.Primary Responsibilities:Scheduling production staff on projects.Installation planning and logistics managementRunning the Production Schedule, determining which projects we can engage with in Prod Dept, and assessing space and other resources needed to fulfill the needs of current and potential projects.Keeping the Production Schedule up to date and accurate.Provide long view of production capacity to the companys management teamsParticipate in design reviews of upcoming and current projects, to provide critical and valuable feedback from Fabrication and Production perspective.Direct manager of Production leadershipThe Production Manager is tasked with helping prepare annual reviews, setting quarterly goals for direct reports, conducting 6-month check-ins, and being available to answer questions or address employee needs.Ensure payroll accuracy for production staff.Enforce safety protocols in the workplace and onsite at project locations, including correct training, PPE, and tools or materials needed for the project.Ideate and execute training programs for staffOverseeing space needs for projects or storageEnsuring Production Department is adequately staffedImagine, create, encourage and enforce successful protocolsTroubleshooting with all company roles to address sticking points within project flowEssential Skills and Experience:At least 5 years in a fabrication or production environment. High level of personal responsibility. Leadership, communication, and delegation skills. Understanding of multi-disciplinary fabrication and finishing techniques. Understanding of construction industry standards and nomenclature. LEAN and Six Sigma a plusSoftware skills:Slack, Gsuite, Asana, Sketchup (or other 3d design software basics), QuickBooks Time, Gantt Charts, BambooHR, BluebeamPhysical Demands/Environmental FactorsAbility to lift 50 pounds to carry equipment and supplies as neededIndoor warehouse environment with moderate noiseExtended time at a deskUnderstands the responsibility of protecting oneself and crew from hazardous/toxic materials by using safety equipment such as skin, eye, hearing and breathing protection.
