Yard Foreman

Job Description We are seeking a dependable and experienced Yard Foreman to oversee daily operations at our scrap and recycling yard. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and hands-on experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.Key Tasks Include:Supervise and manage day-to-day yard operationsLead and direct yard employees to ensure efficiency and safetyMonitor incoming and outgoing materials (scrap metal, recycling, etc.)Operate and oversee use of equipment (skid steers, excavators, forklifts, etc.)Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yardEnforce safety procedures and company policiesAssist customers and ensure excellent serviceCoordinate loading/unloading of trucks and containersTrack inventory and report any discrepanciesQualificationsPrevious experience in scrap, recycling, construction, or similar industry preferredLeadership or supervisory experience requiredAbility to operate heavy equipment (or willingness to learn)Strong work ethic and reliability (must show up and lead by example)Ability to work in outdoor conditions year-roundGood communication and problem-solving skillsCompany DescriptionWe are a fast-growing scrap and recycling company dedicated to providing reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible services to our community.
