Locum Tenens Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) Location: Near New Concord, Ohio Are you a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Ohio? We have a 6-month assignment starting on January 2, 2024. You'll work Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Job Details: Specialty: Pediatric NP Start Date: January 2, 2024 Contract Length: 6 months Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Support Staff: MA, Secretary, RN, Manager Coverage Needed: Full-time, 20 shifts per week Patients per Day: Expectation of 18 patients per day out of 20 scheduled Patient Population/Age: Pediatric patients and newborns to age 21 Department Description: Network of 40 hospital-employed physician practices with 230 providers and 600 staff. The provider will be expected to see patients at one of the two offices each day, Monday to Friday, based on the needs of the office each week. There are 7 physicians and 1 PA in the practice, with no call or hospital rounding. EMR: EPIC (may need to use Meditech to access patient history) Skills Required: Pediatric sick visits of all types, newborn exams, well exams 1 month to 21 years, ADHD, behavioral and developmental concerns, some anxiety and depression illness Equipment: All included (except stethoscope, which must be provided) Practice Setting: Hospital Requirements: Board Certification: ABP certified Pediatrician or Pediatric NP License Required: OH ???
