This includes handling new and existing datasets that support JJMD taxonomy (both core and non-core subject areas).- Collaborate closely with business and IT product owners to ensure a comprehensive and aligned approach to the IT roadmap, especially regarding additional systems like CRM.- Act as the Subject Matter Authority for Commercial Master Data environments. As needed, lead or support data-related testing initiatives and strategies for new datasets and system remediations impacting areas of data management responsibility.- Partner with Commercial Leadership to build and deliver monthly metrics, providing objective insights to Master Data Management teams for efficient implementation of action plans.- Proactively seek opportunities for data management improvements, including ongoing updates to management on key strategies.- Implement ad hoc analytics to support key initiatives and projects, offering analysis and recommendations on project feasibility to Management.- Partner and collaborate with IT to ensure system integration and a strategic approach to data loads, governance, and logic. Develop and install appropriate controls for interim data loads, while focusing on long-term systems solutions.- Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.- Perform other duties as assigned. Experience Required:- Experience in the medical device or healthcare field is preferred.- Minimum of 6 years of progressive work experience, including at least 5 years in data management or a related role.- Demonstrated track record of working in highly collaborative environments. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications, and Affiliations:- Proficiency in query data access tools (such as SQL, Alteryx) and data access methods.- Experience with database structures (AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, S3, Azure Databricks, Oracle, SQLServer, etc.) and ETL technologies (Informatica, Python coding).- Expert knowledge of SQL code and/or analytical/business intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Tableau, Alteryx, Python) with at least two years’ experience in data analysis, testing, or data validation.- Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and interpersonal communication.- Ability, under supervision, to integrate multiple data sources into useful datasets/data models to drive decision-making, with comfort handling large data-mining exercises.- Experience in “Master Data Management” systems is preferred- Proven problem-solving ability and team partnership skills.- Leadership, collaboration, communication, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, sometimes without direct authority, and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong project management capabilities.
