Automation Technician
Job Title: Automation TechnicianLocation: Tucson, AZ Onsite, 1st Shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday)Employment Type: Contract on W2Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.Troubleshoot mechanical and production equipment issues to minimize downtime.Support machine assembly and disassembly activities.Assist with equipment validations, calibrations, and process improvements.Monitor production systems and recommend maintenance schedule updates.Ensure documentation meets quality and compliance standards.Train new employees and share best practices with team members.Collaborate with leadership to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications2 to 3 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production/test equipment or related machinery.Strong hands-on mechanical skills.Ability to learn new mechanical processes quickly.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to support and guide team members.Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
