Construction Superintendent

We are actively seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial and retail construction projects in the Savannah, Georgia area. This individual will be responsible for managing all field operations, maintaining schedules, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day field operations for ground-up commercial and retail construction projectsManage project schedules and drive milestone completionCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and deliveriesEnsure compliance with all OSHA and company safety standardsConduct daily site walks and maintain quality control throughout all phases of constructionCollaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and EngineersLead subcontractor meetings and maintain jobsite productivityIdentify and resolve field issues proactivelyMaintain project documentation including daily reports, schedules, and site logsEnsure projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and company standardsQualifications:5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General ContractorStrong background managing ground-up commercial and/or retail construction projectsExperience with big-box retail, grocery, shopping centers, restaurants, or similar commercial projects preferredAbility to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced schedulesStrong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and safety proceduresProficient with construction software and daily reporting toolsExcellent communication and leadership skills
