Director Of Human ResourcesFor 35+ years we've been providing innovative ticketing software solutions to some pretty cool industries including amusement parks, museums, attractions, zoos, and aquariums. We work with globally recognized destinations as well as lesser-known but locally loved attractions on six continents. Now, we are looking to add an experienced Director of Human Resources to our executive team.Shape the culture. Lead the people strategy. It exists to build a company that works for the business and the people inside it.We're looking for a Director of Human Resources who sees HR as a strategic engine, not a back-office function, across our U.S., Canada, and the U.K. locations.This role sits at the executive table and owns how our people strategy fuels growth, accountability, and performance. You'll partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to design systems that scale, develop leaders who care, and create an employee experience that's both human and high-performing.If you love building structure and culture and you're equally comfortable in a boardroom and a one-on-one this role is for you.What You'll OwnYou will:Lead the companywide HR strategy, aligned with Gateway's vision and business goalsServe as a trusted advisor to executives, managers, and employees across all locationsEnsure HR operations remain compliant across jurisdictions while staying practical and business friendlyOwn the Employee Handbook, HR policies, and employee communications keeping them clear, current, and usefulBuild and manage compensation programs that are competitive, equitable, and sustainableOversee benefits strategy and administration, partnering with brokers and vendorsCoach leaders on performance management, employee relations, and corrective actionDirect recruiting strategy and vendor partnerships to attract and retain strong talentEnsure accurate employee records, reporting, and compliance through HRIS and payroll systemsPartner with Finance on payroll, 401(k), budgeting, and shared processesManage workers' compensation, employment related insurance renewals, and auditsOversee FMLA, leave administration, accommodations, and records retentionLead and develop the HR team, setting priorities and holding the function to a high standardThis is a hands on leadership role you'll design strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute it.Who Thrives HereThis role is for someone who is steady, sharp, and respected someone who can handle complexity without drama.You bring:A bachelor's degree in HR management or business administration10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 4+ years leading peopleSPHR or SHRM SCP certificationA strong grasp of employment law, compensation, benefits, and HR operationsComfort partnering with technical teams and supporting software driven organizationsAdvanced experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred) and reportingThe ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing the plotHigh discretion, sound judgment, and clear communicationA master's degree is a plus but executive level thinking is required.SPHR or SHRMS CP strongly preferred.Why This Role MattersThe Director of HR shapes how leadership shows up, how decisions get made, and how people experience the company.
