This role drives strategic planning and oversees the delivery of integrated shopper marketing programs that enhance consumer engagement and generate incremental revenue. The Director partners cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Consumer Insights, Media/Digital, Strategic Planning, and Commercial teams to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure best-in-class execution. Additionally, this position serves as a key liaison to external partners, supporting joint business planning and identifying new opportunities for growth.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Program Strategy, Design & Execution (50% of time)Lead the design, development, and execution of best-in-class marketing programs across key digital retailers, including Fandango at Home and AppleDevelop and implement scalable, insight-driven retail programs that maximize visibility, conversion, and revenue across TVOD platformsOwn retailer-specific marketing strategies, aligning Client priorities with partner capabilities, promotional calendars, and national campaign initiativesLead end-to-end program development for new releases, ensuring lifecycle alignment from theatrical window through home entertainment to drive sustained performancePartner cross-functionally to translate data and insights into actionable strategies for key accounts, driving revenue growth and category performance through innovative promotional initiativesCommunicate retail strategy, priorities, and execution plans to internal stakeholders through regular meetings and presentations, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teamsGo-To-Market Strategy & Innovation (20% of time)Own and communicate go-to-market strategies for new release titles, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and senior leadershipLead ideation and development of innovative marketing initiatives for new releases, leveraging platform capabilities, emerging trends, and consumer insightsDevelop executive-facing presentations and materials that clearly articulate strategy, priorities, and expected performancePartner with internal teams to ensure cohesive campaign execution across sales, digital, creative, and analytics functionsIdentify and pilot new promotional opportunities, merchandising tactics, and program formats to continuously evolve the Client's retail marketing approachDrive forward-thinking strategies that enhance the customer experience and differentiate Client titles in a competitive digital marketplaceCross-Functional Execution & Operations (15% of time)Oversee execution of marketing and merchandising assets across Fandango at Home and Apple, ensuring quality, consistency, and timelinessProvide oversight of artwork development to ensure alignment with platform requirements and campaign objectivesPartner with internal teams to manage VAM (Value-Added Materials), metadata, film and television bundling, and digital deliverables to support discoverability and on-platform performanceStudio & Label Alignment (15% of time)Serve as the primary marketing lead for specialty and partner labels, including Sony Pictures Classics, Saban Films, and CrunchyrollDevelop tailored marketing approaches that reflect each label's unique audience, brand positioning, and release strategyRequired Experience8 years overall customer marketing and/or media experience (specific experience working with transactional entertainment such as EST, iVOD, RVOD, or SVOD is a plus)4 years working on programs with a digital social componentMust have a background in digital products and digital customer experienceProven experience in working collaboratively with Sales teams and external customersRequired SkillsAnalytical problem-solving skills (quantitative and qualitative)Strong planning and project management skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience working cross-functionally across an organizationProficient in Microsoft OfficeProficient in PhotoshopEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree (BA / BS)BenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundAbout GTTGTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
