Devops Engineer

DevOps EngineerIn this Deployment Conductor Engineer role, you will be responsible for helping lead the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions to challenging problems with the software deployment process. The primary responsibility will be coordinating the various deployment/release activities, consolidating the artifacts needed for continuous deployment, acting as a conductor directing and tracking the component deployments and its related business value realization. The lead will also work in helping security compliance activities and tools.Responsibilities include:Orchestrate the code changes, configurations, artifacts needed for different deployment trainsCreating release documentation, consolidating rally artifacts and test resultsWorking closely with Dev teams, Testing, DevOps and Release Management to track and manage the release readiness activities and remove impedimentsCapitalizing on CI, CD, DevOps tools and best practices to implement agility and qualityEncouraging innovative approaches to automate flow, improve process and provide clear reportingBeing part of an agile team and participating in all rituals including planning, demos and retrospectivesAssuming SME roles for release and pipeline process, providing feedback relative to best practices improving process from retrospective feedbackStaying abreast of current and emerging technologies/products/tools/trends related to software development and utilizing those findings to influence our application development processInfusing a mindset of agility, quality and performance with a focus on value driven deliverables
