🚨 Principal Data Science Lead | Fully Remote | $30/hr | 12-Month ContractI’m currently working with a client looking for an experienced Principal Data Science Lead to take a strategic and hands-on role in developing advanced analytics for an innovative marketing investment allocation platform.This is a great opportunity for someone with deep expertise in Bayesian modelling, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and PyMC who can combine technical leadership with hands-on data science.💰 Rate: $30/hour📅 Contract: 12 months🔄 Extension: Strong potential for extension🌍 Location: Fully Remote🌎 Location Eligibility: South American candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, and US-based candidates are also being considered.🔹 What You’ll Be DoingLead and shape the modelling strategy for an advanced marketing investment platformDevelop and oversee complex Bayesian statistical modelsBuild generative models using PyMC and Bayesian inferenceApply Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) to measure marketing investment impactUse Bayesian methods for uncertainty quantification and forecastingEstablish best practices around model validation, including posterior predictive checksProvide hands-on technical leadership across advanced analytics initiativesWork closely with marketing, data, and business stakeholdersHelp establish and maintain strong data governance and security practices🔹 What We’re Looking For10+ years of experience in Data Science, including leadership experience5+ years working with Bayesian statistical modelling and machine learningStrong experience applying data science to marketing ROI / marketing analyticsStrong hands-on experience with Python and PyMCExperience with Bayesian Hierarchical / Mixed ModelsStrong understanding and practical experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)Experience developing predictive analytics solutions at scaleStrong understanding of data governanceExperience leading teams and providing technical directionExperience with Microsoft Azure is highly desirableMS or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline⭐ Ideal BackgroundWe're particularly interested in candidates who aren't purely strategic.
