OSP Engineer
*Position:* OSP Engineer II
*Location:* _Temple Terrace, FL_— Additional opening in Irving, TX
*Type:* W2 Contract
*Responsibilities:*
* Design and develop fiber plant layouts and related documentation
* Support fiber construction activities, ensuring compliance with standards and safety
* Utilize GIS-based tools (ArcGIS, 3GIS, Google Earth, Visio, Excel) for network mapping and design
* Manage right-of-way and permit acquisition processes
* Interface with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project delivery
*Must-Have Skills:*
* 3–5 years of experience in OSP fiber design and construction
* Proficiency with ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio)
* Working knowledge of ROW, property rights, and permitting
* Strong telecom industry experience (fiber, network plant, or wireline)
*Desired Skills:*
* Experience with Verizon systems or processes
* Knowledge of fiber route optimization and cost modeling
* Engineering degree or certification in Telecommunications or Civil Engineering
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
