Automotive Title Clerk
Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Title Clerk to join our team at our Downtown Subaru dealership. The Title Clerk processes all vehicle transactions. Verifies costs, including costs of reconditioning and equipment add-ons for the accounting department and prepares legal transfer documents for the county court clerk or DMV in accordance with state law.Responsibilities: Finalize usage tax and title documentsReceive and process paperwork from the F&I departmentProcess all legal transfer documents to the county court clerk or DMV in accordance with state lawSend processed title and registration documents to customersMust perfect liens in timely manner in accordance with federal and state lawPrepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-insContact governmental offices to inspect vehicles with out-of-state titlesMaintain inventory log of new and used vehicles for stocking-in purposesCopy and file all new vehicle invoices and freight billsReport new car sales to the manufacturerMaintain new and used vehicle sales transactions on logSend finance contracts to banks on a daily basisFile customer jackets for new, used and wholesale vehicle salesSubmit factory incentive and rebate claimsComplete all training as directed by supervisorFollow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee HandbookAny other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentOne year general office experience Automotive or power sports experience preferredPrevious title experience preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance401kPaid HolidaysWeekly Paychecks$18.00-$21.00 per hour #R2Title Clerk, Clerk, Title, Titling, AutomotiveMartin Automotive Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
