Job Category: Machining Job Type: Full Time Job Location: Plymouth, IN Leading manufacturer of complex orthopedic instruments is seeking Swiss machinist for our clean, well-lit air conditioned modern machine shop. Must have a minimum of 2 to 5 year of set up and troubleshooting experience. Must be able to do set ups independently. Star Swiss experience preferred. 3rd shift schedule: Sunday - Thursday 9:30 p.m. – 6 a.m. or 4 1 0 hour shift is option Job Duties: Set-up and operation of CNC machines Perform complex, first-run set ups Select proper tools, equipment and materials Use all precision measuring equipment to perform in-process and final dimensional checks Select and use correct tooling, fixtures and gauges for set-up Qualifications/Skills: 2 to 5 years set up and troubleshooting experience Competency in the use of precision measuring equipment Ability to read, understand and interpret blue prints Competency in shop math Ability to understand and apply SPC and GD&T a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Schedule: 10 hour shift Work Location: In person
