Hiring for 2 positionsSUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUtilize and operate equipment, material and tools in the process, inspection, bundling and banding of tubing on both mills. Responsible for safe operation all equipment at table and all ancillary activities that support the table functions and banding and bundling of material. Complies with all safety, quality, customer focus, preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards. All other duties as assigned and expected.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESRead and apply tape measure, roll groove "L gages", pipe tapeUnderstand and use Shop Floor system and bundle taggingSelect correct bundle size, number of pieces, wood spacers and all other characteristics for customers and BMT specsAbility to check surface condition and end conditionSet up and operation of manual tables and bundling equipmentCompetent in their part of mill set upsCompetent in coating line set up and operationAbility to check and apply pipe coating and stencilCorrect interpretation of tubing and customer specs to achieve a match and verify this matchComplete knowledge of Company quality requirementsComplete knowledge of Company housekeeping rulesAbility to understand and fill out quality sheets to properly operate a forklift as applicableAbility to run over head craneEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDHigh School diploma/equivalent; previous experience in a manufacturing setting, machine operating skills or ability to learn and comprehend the same.
