Group ObjectivesThe leadership board assists with the completion of launch steps 8-10 and operation of the live program by:Providing input and direction to the program director as he/she manages the day-to-day operations of the programAssisting with the 5 L's of operations:Leadership: Recruit and onboard program staff and volunteersLocation: Research, secure and prepare facility and transportationLogistics: Coordinate details and maintain positive communications with the schoolLoot: Spearhead the fundraising effort, budget and manage financesLanguage: Ensure all public communications are excellent and contain proper messagingGroup MakeupThe leadership board should include:No fewer than three members and no more than nine in addition to the program directorRepresentation from at least three different churchesRepresentation of the entire Christian community: various ages, professions, genders, races, etc.One member responsible for each of the 5 L's: Leadership, Location, Logistics, Loot and Language. Individual board members may be responsible for more than one L.Member ResponsibilitiesEvery member is asked to:Have a mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of FaithActively participate in and commit to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of FaithComplete board member role-specific trainingComplete a background check & child safety training once every 3 yearsBe diligent in executing the T-Minus Plan prior to launchActively participate in the fundraising processBe faitiful in attending scheduled meetingsCommit to a minimum of one year of serviceBe consistent in prayer for the local programMember QualificationsEvery member should have a proven track record of exemplifying the two LifeWise Core Values:COMMITMENT - Members have their hearts in the right place. They are motivated by their love for the Lord and are all in. They are fully supportice of the gospel-centered purposes of a local LifeWise program.COMPETENCE - Members have the know-how, skills and relationship to get stuff done.*Note: Each member must provide the contact info of a local church leader in which he/she is an active participant.
